Akshay Kumar Attends Anant And Radhika's Reception Post-COVID Recovery

Bollywood icon Akshay Kumar and his author-wife, Twinkle Khanna, attended the post-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on Monday evening. Akshay had missed the wedding ceremony due to a COVID-19 diagnosis but joined the function after testing negative to congratulate the newlyweds.

The youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, married Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, in a grand ceremony on July 12. The wedding was held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai and saw attendance from international celebrities and high-profile guests from various fields.

On July 13, a blessing ceremony for the couple was held, which saw Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance. The event also welcomed many respected religious leaders, including Shankaracharya of Dwarka Peeth Swami Sadananda Saraswati and Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath Swami Avimukteshwaranand, who received standing ovations.

The Ambanis hosted another reception on July 14. Stars like Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Bipasha Basu, and Karan Singh Grover were present at this post-wedding function. The Monday event was specifically organised for the media, household staff of the Ambani family, and Reliance employees.

Several clips from Monday's function surfaced online showing Akshay and Twinkle in colour-coordinated ethnic outfits as they entered the venue. Akshay appeared healthy and cheerful. Fans expressed their joy on social media upon seeing him at the event. One netizen commented, "So sweet of him. He came to bless the couple."
