Akshara Singh reported the threat to the Danapur police station in Patna, seeking protection. The police have begun investigating the matter. According to an ABP report, she received calls from two unknown numbers, both demanding the hefty ransom.

When asked by Navbharat Times if jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was behind the threat, Akshara denied it. She stated, "No, it is not from Lawrence's side." Bishnoi has been linked to threats against Salman Khan recently.
