Ajay Devgn And Tabu's Latest Outing Poised To Hit £10M Mark Despite Box Office Rivalry

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Box Office Collection Day 7 Prediction: Ajay Devgn and Tabu's latest film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, has generated significant buzz this year. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, it marks the 10th collaboration between Ajay and Tabu. The film also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Saiee Manjrekar, and Shantanu Maheshwari. Despite the hype, it received mixed reviews from both audiences and critics.

The movie had a slow start at the box office, earning Rs 1.85 crores on its opening day, making it Ajay Devgn's lowest opener in over ten years. Although there was an increase in collections over the opening weekend, the film saw a significant drop on its first Monday, earning just Rs 1 crore. The downward trend continued on the first Tuesday with earnings of Rs 95 lakhs.

According to Sacnilk, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha continued to struggle at the box office, collecting Rs 76 lakhs on its sixth day (first Wednesday). This brought the total earnings to Rs 9.46 crores. Based on current trends, it is expected to earn around Rs 50-70 lakhs today (first Thursday), crossing the Rs 10 crores mark within its first week.

Interestingly, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has been competing with Janhvi Kapoor's Ulajh since its release. Despite the competition, it has maintained a lead over the spy thriller from day one.

Director Neeraj Pandey shared his thoughts on casting Ajay Devgn and Tabu in an interview with News18: "Two years back, when we were figuring out our next theatrical release, the germ of this film came to me. It was there in some form in my head before that but I didn't actually sit down and write about it till two years ago. And Ajay and Tabu were my first choices. Having said that, I don't know if it's their friendship that translated onscreen because I know nothing about its background."

The film's music has been well-received by audiences, adding to its appeal despite mixed reviews. However, its box office performance remains underwhelming compared to expectations.

As Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha approaches the end of its first week in theatres, all eyes are on whether it can sustain or improve its box office numbers in the coming days.
