Maidaan Day 6 Box Office: Ajay Devgn's Film Shows Slight Uptick Amidst Rival Releases

Maidaan Box Office Collection Day 6: The cinematic journey of Ajay Devgn in the biographical sports drama Maidaan seems to be facing challenges in captivating the audience's attention at the box office. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, known for his work on Badhaai Ho, the film portrays the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, a revered Indian football coach. Despite its release on the festive occasion of Eid, April 11, 2024, and positive critical reception, the film's financial performance has not mirrored the enthusiasm. It finds itself in competition with the Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, affecting its growth in box office collections.

The sports drama opened to a warm reception, with initial collections promising. However, as per the latest figures, Maidaan experienced a slight increase on its sixth day, with an estimated earning of Rs 1.65 cr on Tuesday. This brings its total collection to approximately Rs 25.15 crores. The film saw an occupancy rate of 11.47% in Hindi-speaking regions on Tuesday, April 17. In an attempt to attract more viewers, ticket prices were reduced to Rs 150 at selected cinemas.

Maidaan Day 6: Slight Uptick

Despite a hopeful start over its opening weekend, Maidaan recorded its lowest single-day collection on Monday, managing to gather only Rs 1.5 cr.
