This downward trend continued on the fifth day (first Tuesday) with earnings of Rs 97 lakhs, making the total collection Rs 8.72 crores so far. Based on current trends, it is predicted that Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha will struggle to reach the Rs 1 crore mark today (day six/first Wednesday), potentially setting a record for Ajay Devgn's lowest sixth-day earnings ever. It remains to be seen if the film can surpass the Rs 10 crore mark within its first week.

Discussing the lead pair, director Neeraj Pandey shared with News18, "Two years back, when we were figuring out our next theatrical release, the germ of this film came to me. It was there in some form in my head before that but I didn't actually sit down and write about it till two years ago. And Ajay and Tabu were my first choices. Having said that, I don't know if it's their friendship that translated onscreen because I know nothing about its background."

Despite Maidaan having an average box office performance earlier this year, Ajay Devgn's role was praised by both critics and viewers alike. However, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has not managed to replicate this success.

The movie's journey at the box office began modestly and failed to gain momentum during its opening weekend. The significant drop in collections on subsequent days indicates a challenging road ahead for the film.
