According to an exclusive report by Hindustan Times, it was not just a minor injury; the actress had to undergo surgery. She reportedly delayed the procedure to maintain her Cannes legacy.

Apart from her stunning outfits, Aishwarya's cast drew significant attention. Despite the injury, she was determined to attend the festival. A source close to Hindustan Times disclosed that she consulted specialists before making her decision. The source stated, "Aishwarya broke her wrist over the weekend and thus had to get a cast on. However, she was adamant that she wants to keep her Cannes tradition going."

The source further revealed, "Even after the injury, she completed her professional commitments and made it to Cannes." Her surgery is scheduled for later next week after she returns from Cannes.
