Ahsaas Channa On Transitioning From Child Actor To OTT Success And Bollywood Aspirations
Ahsaas Channa has been active in the entertainment industry since her childhood. She has appeared in numerous films as a child actor and has now made a significant impact on OTT platforms with series like "Girls Hostel," "Kota Factory," and "Hostel Days." Filmibeat recently interviewed Ahsaas to discuss "Kota Factory 3," her upcoming projects, and more.
Despite her extensive work as a child actor, Ahsaas has not yet played a lead role in a movie as an adult. When asked if she plans to transition to the big screen or is content with OTT, Ahsaas responded, "That is there in the plan. Every actor wants to do films. But, since childhood, I wanted to become a film heroine. OTT was not planned, it happened by chance. So, everything worked out very well. I was very happy with the way everything worked out on OTT. But, I still dream to become a heroine and hard work is going on for that."

During our conversation, Ahsaas disclosed that she had auditioned for the film "Laapataa Ladies." She mentioned that she auditioned alongside Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan and was among the top two contenders with Pratibha Ranta for the role of Jaya.
When asked about which actors she would like to romance on screen, and if Shah Rukh Khan would be one of them despite playing his son in "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna," Ahsaas replied, "Main Shah Rukh Khan ko romance nahi karna chahungi, woh thoda inapproriate hojayega (I would not like to romance Shah Rukh Khan, it will be a bit inappropriate). But I really want to work with the new boys like Ibrahim (Ali Khan), Vedang (Raina), Ishaan Khatter; these people I would like to romance. Actually, anybody I would like to romance."
Ahsaas's journey from being a child actor to making her mark on OTT platforms showcases her versatility and dedication. Her aspirations of becoming a film heroine remain strong as she continues to work hard towards achieving that dream.
