Kartik Aaryan is enjoying immense success following his recent film, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. In this Anees Bazmee-directed movie, Kartik shared the screen with Triptii Dimri. Initially, it was believed that they would team up again for 'Aashiqui 3'. However, significant changes have been made to the romantic-musical drama's cast.

Announced in 2022, 'Aashiqui 3' is a pivotal project for Kartik Aaryan. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film was initially set to feature Triptii Dimri as Kartik's co-star once more. However, according to a report from Peeping Moon, Sharvari from 'Munjya' has taken over the role of the leading lady.

The decision to change the female lead reportedly stems from a desire not to repeat the Kartik-Triptii pairing so soon after their success in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. Despite these reports, there hasn't been any official statement confirming this casting change yet.

According to the same source, filming for 'Aashiqui 3' is expected to commence in 2025.
