Aaman Devgan Shares How Ajay Devgn Inspired His Journey Into Acting
Aaman Devgan is gaining significant attention for his upcoming debut in the film Azaad, which will be released in cinemas on Friday, 17th January 2025. In this movie, he plays Govind, a simple village boy, and showcases his deep friendship with his horse, Azaad.
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, Azaad is anticipated to be a touching story about the strong bond between humans and animals. The film delves into themes of love, loyalty, and bravery and is set to premiere on 17th January 2025.

Aaman's journey into acting began at age 15 when he discovered the world of cinema. During media interactions, he shared how an encounter with Ajay Devgn inspired him. "I was very young when I saw Bhagat Singh," Aaman recalled. "One day over lunch I asked him (Ajay Devgn) where is your costume and that's when he (Ajay Devgn) told me that this is acting and I dress up for roles."
He further explained that this conversation sparked his interest in acting: "I was just 15 years old when I had this interaction and it drove me to decide that I want to be an actor." This pivotal moment set him on the path to pursuing a career in films.
To authentically portray his role in Azaad, Aaman underwent rigorous training. He learned horse riding and spent considerable time bonding with the horse to depict their friendship convincingly on screen. His dedication extended to daily tasks like feeding and cleaning up after the horse.
Currently busy promoting Azaad, Aaman also announced his next project titled Jhalak. Despite his hectic schedule, he continues to engage with fans and media, sharing insights into his experiences and future plans.
