Magda Linette Secures Victory At Prague Open In First All-Polish Final
Magda Linette concluded her Olympic preparations impressively by securing her third WTA title with a decisive victory over Magdalena Frech at the Prague Open. Linette, who defeated Viktoriya Tomova and Linda Noskova en route to the final, triumphed in straight sets 6-2, 6-1. She now heads to Paris to compete against Mirra Andreeva.From the outset, Linette was in control, breaking Frech's serve in the fourth game and maintaining her lead. Despite Frech's efforts to save one set point, Linette continued to dominate, securing another break to take the first set. In the second set, Linette broke again in the fourth game and won three consecutive games to clinch her first career win over her fellow Pole.
