Novak Djokovic Trains For Wimbledon After Knee Surgery, Showcases Resilience
Dusan Lajovic has commended Novak Djokovic's determination as he gears up for Wimbledon next week. Djokovic, a seven-time champion at the tournament, had knee surgery earlier this month after withdrawing from the French Open. Consequently, he lost his number one ranking to Jannik Sinner.
Despite the recent surgery, Djokovic was seen training at Wimbledon just 18 days post-operation. However, his participation in the competition remains uncertain. He shared on social media: "That time of year. Good to be back. Giving my best to be ready for #wimbledon."

Lajovic, who defeated Djokovic in the Srpska Open quarter-finals last year, believes his fellow Serbian will make the right call regarding his fitness. "It just shows his grit," Lajovic said. "He's always been such a fighter, even if he gives himself a one per cent chance to compete, he's going to do everything to maximise that."
Lajovic added that Djokovic would likely wait until the last moment to decide on his participation. "He's going to wait until probably the last minute to see if he's ready and if his body can support the stress of playing in a grand slam," he explained.
Lajovic expressed confidence in Djokovic's ability to make sound decisions about his health and tennis career. "So, in the end, he normally makes good decisions about his body and about his tennis as well," Lajovic noted.
"If he thinks he can make it, then he probably can make it," Lajovic concluded, highlighting Djokovic's resilience and strategic approach towards major tournaments.
As fans eagerly await Wimbledon, all eyes are on Djokovic's final decision regarding his participation in this year's event.
