Birthday Boy Djokovic Secures Spot In Geneva Open Quarter-Finals
Novak Djokovic celebrated his 37th birthday by advancing to the Geneva Open quarter-finals with a straight-sets victory over Yannick Hanfmann. The world number one defeated Hanfmann, who had previously bested Andy Murray, with a 6-3, 6-3 win in Switzerland on Wednesday.
Djokovic saved nine out of ten break points and won six consecutive games in the second set, responding strongly after initially trailing 3-0. His next opponent will be the winner of the last-16 match between Denis Shapovalov and Tallon Griekspoor.

Djokovic's performance on his birthday was impressive, as he triumphed with ease. The ATP Tour tweeted about his victory, highlighting his dominance in the match.

Despite watching contemporaries Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal struggle with fitness in their later years, Djokovic shows no signs of slowing down. As the French Open approaches, he aims to become the second player in the Open Era to win a Grand Slam Singles title after turning 37, following Ken Rosewall's Australian Open victory in 1972.
