De Minaur Triumphs Over Korda To Win Libema Open Title
Alex de Minaur secured the Libema Open title on Sunday, defeating Sebastian Korda in straight sets. The Australian's victory also earned him a career-high ranking in the ATP standings. De Minaur needed one hour and 31 minutes to overcome Korda with a scoreline of 6-2, 6-4, completing the tournament without losing a set.
De Minaur's performance was marked by back-to-back breaks in the first set. Although Korda responded with a break early in the second set, De Minaur maintained his pressure and capitalised in the sixth game. Throughout the match, De Minaur forced 14 break points and saved four out of six he faced. Korda's performance was marred by 26 unforced errors.

De Minaur has had a successful year, having previously defeated Casper Ruud to win the Mexican Open final in February. This marks the third year he has won multiple ATP titles, following his victories in Sydney, Atlanta, and Zhuhai in 2019 and Antalya and Eastbourne in 2021.
With his semi-final win over Ugo Humbert, De Minaur had already achieved a career-high ATP ranking of eighth. Following his triumph at the Libema Open, he will rise to seventh in the rankings on Monday.
