Greater Noida is preparing to host bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026, with the event officially sold out and set to welcome over 1,100 exhibitors. As India’s premier trade fair for construction machinery, building material equipment, mining technology, and construction vehicles, the event will be held at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida from 15-18 September.

This eighth edition has reached full capacity, spanning 1.45 million sq. ft. and hosting more than 1,100 exhibitors. Organizers anticipate over 75,000 attendees from upwards of 100 countries. The Government of Bihar is participating as the State Partner, while buyer delegations representing more than 15 states and Union Territories will arrive to source equipment for infrastructure projects across the country.

Brand ambassadors for the 2026 edition include Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra and Indian women’s cricket captain Harmanpreet Kaur. They embody the ambition and national pride driving the country’s development, connecting with the people and companies building India’s future. The event also introduces buno, the official mascot, alongside the new anthem, ‘India is Building. India is Moving.’

By August 2026, the Indian construction equipment sector has entered a pivotal phase of expansion. The Union Budget 2026–27 has pushed public capital expenditure to a record ₹12.2 lakh crore, marking an increase of roughly 9% over previous estimates, while launching a specific scheme to bolster domestic manufacturing of advanced infrastructure and construction equipment. This funding is expected to drive progress across highways, railways, metros, airports, logistics corridors, mining, and urban development. Such significant investment is also raising expectations for equipment performance.
