UAE Invites Schools To Largest Cultural Programme For Student Creativity
The A.R.M. Holding Children's Programme, now in its fourth edition, has officially launched its largest cultural initiative in the UAE to date. Starting on April 15 and running until June 2024, this expansive programme aims to engage over 15,000 students aged between 5 to 17 from more than 100 schools across all seven emirates. This initiative, developed in collaboration with Art Dubai, seeks to enrich arts education and cultivate a culture of creativity and innovation among the youth.
Entitled "Worlds in a Box," the 2024 programme draws inspiration from dioramas, memory, and the built environment. Goa-based artist Sahil Naik has played a pivotal role in its development. The timing of the launch, coinciding with World Art Day, underscores the global celebration of artistic expression and the programme's commitment to fostering an appreciation for the arts.

This year's edition introduces two innovative concepts: an adapted programme for people of determination within schools and special masterclasses aimed at enhancing educators' teaching capabilities. These additions highlight A.R.M. Holding and Art Dubai's dedication to inclusive education and professional development in the arts sector.
Fatma Almulla, Marketing Manager at A.R.M. Holding, emphasized the importance of arts in youth empowerment and community strengthening. "Our commitment is deeply rooted in supporting local talent through targeted education and training programmes," Almulla stated. The success of previous editions has inspired the expansion of this initiative, including masterclasses for teachers to further unlock students' potential.
Art Dubai's Executive Director, Benedetta Ghione, highlighted the fair's focus on nurturing artistic scholarship and critical discourse, especially from voices in the Global South. The fair's year-round education and professional development programme is a testament to its commitment to ambitious cultural programming. "The power of art and culture to enrich society by enhancing awareness, unlocking creativity, and fostering empathy through education is fundamental in today's economy," Ghione remarked.
The partnership between A.R.M. Holding and Art Dubai exemplifies how corporate support can enhance transformative education by integrating arts into learning processes. This approach aims to create an ecosystem where cognitive and emotional development are intertwined, ensuring a transformative learning experience.
Schools across the UAE are invited to register for the A.R.M. Holding Children’s Programme by April 30, 2024, to be part of this unique educational experience. This initiative not only prepares students for diverse career paths but also addresses broader economic challenges by developing a creative and skilled workforce.
