Symbiosis Dubai Campus Marks One Year Of Academic Excellence And Growth In The UAE

Marking its first anniversary, Symbiosis Dubai celebrated this significant milestone with a grand event at the Taj Dubai, Business Bay on September 10. This celebration was especially noteworthy as it commemorated not only a year of academic excellence but also growth within the UAE.

This occasion was further graced by the presence of Dharmendra Pradhan, India Minister of Education, Government of India, underscoring the university’s commitment to promoting India-UAE educational ties.

The university's growth is exemplified by its substantial student body, now comprising over 500 families, showcasing its status as a leading educational hub in the region. On the same day as the anniversary celebrations, Symbiosis Dubai also held its Orientation Day for the academic year 2025-2026, warmly welcoming new students into its community.

This expansion reflects the university's role in fostering global academic collaboration and its foundational principle, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, meaning the world is one family.

Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro Chancellor of Symbiosis International University (SIU), along with Dr. Anita Patankar, Executive Director of Symbiosis Dubai, emphasised the university's ethos of global academic collaboration.

Their leadership has been pivotal in steering the university towards fulfilling its vision of becoming a global seat of learning in Dubai, offering students from across the globe a home away from home.

Their active Student Council and Student Services Department have contributed significantly to the campus life, organising initiatives such as Graffiti for Good and Ramadan drives, thereby creating a vibrant and purpose-driven community.

The university offers a wide range of CAA-accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programs, catering to diverse fields such as technology, business, commerce, and media. These programmes are designed to equip students with the skills needed in today’s competitive landscape.

Furthermore, Symbiosis International University, Dubai, has forged partnerships with Cisco Networking Academy, Edu Scan, Behaviour Enhancement, and Odoo through Memorandums of Understanding, enhancing the academic experience with industry-relevant learning and opportunities.

Symbiosis Dubai is also at the forefront of applied learning, housing the Symbiosis Centre for Applied AI - Dubai Chapter. This center, developed in collaboration with several esteemed partners, ensures that students receive practical knowledge in emerging fields such as AI, Data Science, and Cybersecurity.

Minister Dharmendra Pradhan remarked on the blossoming educational relationship between India and the UAE, highlighting Symbiosis Dubai as a beacon of opportunity and academic mobility.
