Visa Validity and Renewal
A standard UAE student visa is valid for one year and can be renewed annually with proof of continued enrollment from the educational institution. However, students eligible for a golden visa can enjoy a 10-year residency without needing a sponsor or annual renewal.
Family Sponsorship and Golden Visa Eligibility
In 2021, the UAE introduced a policy allowing foreign university students to sponsor family members, provided they can afford suitable housing. This policy enhances the appeal of studying in the UAE, making it a more family-friendly option for international students.
Outstanding students have the opportunity to qualify for a golden visa, offering a 10-year residency without the necessity of a sponsor.
