Saudi Arabia Enhances Data Science And AI Education Through Scholarships At Leading US Universities

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program is a key part of Saudi Vision 2030, highlighting the strong scientific ties between Saudi Arabia and the United States. This initiative, under the Human Capability Development Program, aims to enhance educational opportunities in data and artificial intelligence (AI) at top global universities.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) offers scholarships for studying data and AI at prestigious institutions like Harvard and MIT. These universities are among the top 40 in the US, renowned for their advanced educational practices in technology fields. The program covers all degree levels: bachelor's, master's, and doctorate.

SDAIA's efforts receive robust support from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. As Crown Prince and Prime Minister, he also chairs SDAIA's Board of Directors. This backing is crucial for advancing data and AI fields, positioning Saudi Arabia as a leader in these technologies globally.

The AI Scholarship Program strengthens Saudi-US relations by focusing on human capacity building. It aims to maintain Saudi Arabia's leadership in AI while fostering innovation for future generations. American tech giants like NVIDIA, Apple, Google, Amazon, and Microsoft have shown confidence by investing in training Saudi talents.
