Ras Al Khaimah And Ministry Of Education Sign MoU To Elevate Education Standards In The Emirate

The Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge (RAK DOK) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Education (MoE) to progressively delegate regulatory powers over the private education sector in the emirate to RAK DOK. This delegation will continue until the end of 2024, in alignment with Ras Al Khaimah's Vision 2030 and national goals to enhance the educational system.

Dr. Rabaa Al Sumaiti, Undersecretary for the Performance Improvement Sector at the MoE, and Dr. Abdulrahman Al Naqbi, RAK DOK Board Member, were the key signatories of the MoU. The agreement underscores a commitment to adopting a new approach focused on elevating educational services and aligning them with international standards.

This MoU is a strategic move to ensure that the educational sector in Ras Al Khaimah keeps pace with global trends. It reflects the broader objectives of Vision 2030, which aims to position Ras Al Khaimah as a leader in various fields through advanced development goals.
