RAK Awards For Educational Excellence Recognise Outstanding Educators And Students In 2025
Education is a cornerstone of human advancement and a catalyst for sustainable growth, according to H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. He highlighted its role as a vital investment in shaping the future during an event at the Ras Al Khaimah Cultural Centre, where he honoured winners of the 19th annual RAK - Awards for Educational Excellence.
H.H. Sheikh Saud emphasised, "Education shapes the strength and character of our nation. It opens doors for individuals, connects communities, and drives long-term progress. On this day, we recognise those who are dedicated to shaping minds, guiding future leaders, and contributing to the continued growth of our Emirate."
The awards ceremony was a gathering of leaders, educators, students, and families celebrating progress and promise. With 71 recipients across 38 categories, the event highlighted significant contributions from Ras Al Khaimah’s diverse educational landscape. This included early learning centres, schools, universities, and parent communities.
The awards underscore a holistic approach to excellence by recognising achievements in academic performance, student wellbeing, innovative teaching methods, environmental stewardship, and impactful educational research. Initiatives like AI programmes and STEAM projects showcased tangible impacts and leadership.
Launched in 2004 under H.H. Sheikh Saud's patronage, the RAK – Awards for Educational Excellence is a key initiative in Ras Al Khaimah’s education sector. The award aims to foster a culture of excellence by celebrating outstanding achievements in education. It highlights forward-thinking initiatives such as inclusive classrooms and green campus projects.
