Peekapak Introduces Wellbeing Surveys In UAE Schools To Elevate Student And Teacher Well-being

Peekapak, an edtech company known for its social emotional learning (SEL) curriculum, has launched new well-being surveys in the UAE. These tools aim to help schools monitor and improve the well-being of students and teachers. The surveys align with the UAE's educational policies and support the Vision 2031 and National Wellbeing Strategy.

Data from the surveys has shown significant improvements in school environments. Schools reported a 29% improvement in stress management and a 32% boost in time management among students. Teachers noted a reduction in conflicts and an increase in collaboration, leading to a calmer and more supportive environment.

The Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation (AGF) has partnered with Peekapak under its Takween Al Ghurair programme. This collaboration has expanded Peekapak’s reach to nearly 7,000 students, promoting emotional and evidence-based learning tools. AGF supports initiatives that enhance student readiness and learning ecosystems across the UAE.

Recently validated across 20 UAE schools, the surveys provided actionable insights into well-being for over 2,000 students and educators. These insights assist school leaders in tracking well-being indicators and guiding improvements, creating positive learning environments.

Peekapak has been adopted by 50% of Abu Dhabi charter schools, including prominent institutions like Cranleigh Abu Dhabi. The platform aids administrators in making informed decisions to strengthen well-being strategies and cultivate supportive learning environments.

CEO Ami Shah noted, "Our surveys being adopted by schools in the UAE is a key milestone for us, as it supports schools with data-driven insights into their students' and teachers' well-being that enables both reflection and action."

Peekapak's efforts have gained international recognition. The company has been a finalist for awards like the GESS Awards for "Best Product to Promote Wellbeing." Their participation in programs like Techstars' Anjal Z Founder Catalyst has bolstered their growth in the UAE.

Peekapak's programmes are available in the UAE, US, and Canada. They cater to elementary through high school students and offer professional development for educators. The initiatives focus on improving wellbeing in educational settings.
