University of Sharjah and IBM Enhance My FarmWell App to Boost Agricultural Sustainability

The forthcoming version of My FarmWell is poised to introduce a suite of new features aimed at widening the app's applicability on a global scale while simultaneously enhancing the user experience.

Among these enhancements are interactive maps displaying the locations of wells, which will aid farmers in identifying their proximity to groundwater sources under monitoring.

Additionally, the app will see an upgrade in its imagery and educational resources to further encourage the responsible use of groundwater and its conservation.

Additionally, the app provides location-based weather forecasts powered by IBM Environmental Intelligence, instant guidance via a chatbot developed by the University of Sharjah, and a water consumption calculator for various agricultural needs.

The app also keeps farmers informed about agricultural regulations and updates on food market prices to assist in farming planning and operations.
