Site Visits And Networking Opportunity: MBZUAI Launches Intensive Six-Day AI Executive Program in Abu Dhabi

The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has opened registrations for a six-day AI programme aimed at executives. This event will be held at the university's campus in Abu Dhabi in October 2024.

Executives from both local and international backgrounds are invited to apply for the MBAI Executive Program - Accelerated (MEP-A). This is a condensed version of the university's MBZUAI Executive Program (MEP), with applications now open for the inaugural cohort.

The curriculum includes the UAE National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031, AI fundamentals, and industry case studies. Topics will range from robotics to manufacturing and energy. Participants will also gain insights into how UAE-based entities are integrating AI through site visits and networking events.

The programme kicks off with an orientation day on 20 October, followed by on-campus lectures, site visits, and cultural activities from 21-25 October 2024. This structure aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience within a short timeframe.

Instructors for the programme include MBZUAI's President Eric Xing, UC Berkeley's Michael Jordan, and MBZUAI's Sami Haddadin. They will be joined by other experts from top international institutions and leaders from national entities.

Sultan Al Hajji, Vice President of Public Affairs and Alumni Relations at MBZUAI, highlighted the programme's benefits: "MEP-A has maintained its academic rigor and offers local and international executives, startup founders and co-founders, top management from publicly traded companies and multinational corporations, and international foundation directors' the opportunity to access the greatest global minds in Artificial Intelligence right here in Abu Dhabi."

Participants will have opportunities to network with past MEP alumni. The programme concludes with business integration sessions to help participants apply their new knowledge directly within their organisations.

This initiative aims to equip executives with practical AI skills that can be immediately applied in their respective fields. The combination of lectures, site visits, and networking activities ensures a well-rounded educational experience.

A total of 30 participants will be selected for this programme. They may also choose to attend GITEX Global at Dubai World Trade Center from 14-18 October 2024 as a prelude to MEP-A.
