UAE: Mashreq Introduces 'Pathfinders', A Tailored Graduate Programme For Future Banking Leaders
UAE's oldest private banking institution Mashreq has introduced its innovative Graduate Programme, 'Pathfinders'. This initiative offers a tailored training and growth journey, aligning with the diverse needs of the bank's business units and the career goals of graduates.
The 'Pathfinders' programme aims to provide Emirati fresh graduates with a focused learning environment. It adopts a specialized approach to various aspects of the bank's operations.

The programme includes technical training for support functions at Mashreq. These areas include Retail Banking, Audit, Compliance, Technology, Legal, Operations, Risk Management, and Customer Experience & Conduct groups.
Elham Ahmed, Head of Nationalisation & Local Talent at Mashreq, commented on the initiative: "As banking and technology continue to evolve, we are committed to teaching our employees the dynamic skills necessary to adapt and thrive in this ever-changing landscape. Selected candidates will also benefit from the Ethraa training programme in collaboration with Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF). This provides a bespoke learning experience including certifications from globally renowned institutions, soft skills courses, mentoring, and coaching.
Graduates will receive an Individual Development Plan ensuring smooth on-the-job learning. The programme begins in September with candidates joining Ethraa shortly after. They will then undergo on-the-job training within their respective business units.

Prospective candidates must submit a 1-minute video articulating their desire to participate in the programme. The video should include their educational history and future career aspirations.
