Khalifa University’s Research And Innovation Exhibition Draws Nearly 2,000 Visitors And Highlights Technological Advancements

The second edition of the annual Research and Innovation Exhibition 2025 at Khalifa University of Science and Technology drew nearly 2,000 visitors. This event highlighted the university's pivotal role in innovation, coinciding with the conclusion of the UAE’s Innovation Month. The exhibition attracted significant interest from stakeholders, showcasing the university's commitment to technological advancements.

The exhibition showcased over 100 innovative projects across three zones dedicated to research, industry applications, and startups. Students from various parts of the UAE engaged with global innovators to understand the university's academic and research contributions. They explored real-world solutions through projects involving drones, a Lunar Rover, robotic fishes, artificial intelligence, genetics, and a knee exoskeleton.

Prominent figures such as Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Dr. Abdulla Humaid Saif Al Jarwan, Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaytoon Al Muhairi, and Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa attended the event. They were welcomed by Professor Ebrahim Al Hajri, President of Khalifa University. These officials interacted with scientists and researchers, acknowledging the university's efforts in fostering technological progress.

Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi emphasised Khalifa University's crucial role in shaping future innovations across multiple sectors. He stated that the university empowers bright minds to tackle current and future challenges. "Khalifa University of Science and Technology is playing a key role in shaping our future by fostering innovation across various sectors," he said.

Dr. Abdullah Humaid Al Jarwan praised the exhibition for its commitment to promoting innovation and supporting pioneering research. He highlighted that this event serves as a platform for collaboration between academia and industry. He expressed optimism about future cooperation between Abu Dhabi's Department of Energy and Khalifa University to achieve shared goals using technology and innovative ideas.

He further noted that such events are crucial for building partnerships across different sectors. "We are pleased that the outstanding projects and innovations featured at the Khalifa University Research and Innovation Exhibition 2025 focus on emerging and new industries," he added.
