Khalifa University And IIPD Global Collaborate To Boost Learning And Research Initiatives

Khalifa University of Science and Technology has partnered with the Institute of Innovation and Professional Development (IIPD) Global. They signed an MoU to collaborate on initiatives aimed at enhancing learning, professional development, and research.

The partnership will focus on sharing resources such as faculty members and training materials to support educational and developmental projects. It includes joint Khalifa University-certified courses and training programmes relevant to industry needs. Additionally, coordinated training opportunities will be provided to offer instructors, expertise, and infrastructure.

Khalifa University Partners with IIPD Global

This agreement was formalised by Professor Bayan Sharif, Provost of Khalifa University, and Farooq Mohammed, Business Director of IIPD, in Abu Dhabi.

Professor Sharif highlighted the partnership's role in building human capital crucial for the UAE’s knowledge economy transformation. He stated that Khalifa University's strong academic foundation enables it to equip learners with essential skills for personal and professional growth. "Combining our resources with the IIPD will create synergy that will benefit stakeholders in acquiring special skills," he added.

The MoU allows IIPD to participate in events organised by Khalifa University. It also includes awareness sessions focusing on key industry trends, emerging technologies, and essential professional skills for students and faculty members.

Farooq Mohammed expressed that this collaboration is a significant step for IIPD. He said it combines world-class academic excellence with their global training expertise to prepare professionals and students for future technologies and challenges. "This collaboration with Khalifa University marks an important milestone for IIPD," he noted.

This partnership aims to foster a collaborative environment where both institutions can leverage their strengths. By doing so, they aim to enhance the skill sets of stakeholders involved, ultimately contributing to the region's educational landscape.
