Fujairah Aviation Academy And Falcon Unveil Elite Graduate Programmes To Aspiring Professionals
The aviation sector is poised to become a major economic force in Dubai, as a study by Oxford Economics predicts. By 2030, the sector is expected to contribute 32% to the emirate's GDP, support one in four jobs, and add $53.36 billion to Dubai's projected GDP while supporting 816,000 jobs.
The recently signed MoU between Falcon and Fujairah Aviation Academy aims to propel fresh graduates and early-career professionals into the aviation industry. This partnership focuses on several key areas, including the career development of aviation professionals such as engineers and pilots, offering recruitment and internship opportunities for students and fresh graduates, and providing support for training and licenses.

Established back in 1986 with the support of His Highness Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Fujairah Aviation Academy has emerged as a cornerstone in aviation training within the GCC region. It boasts an extensive history of offering top-notch Pilot Training and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Training. Over the years, it has expanded its operations and now stands as the largest aviation training institution in the Middle East, supported by state-of-the-art fleets and facilities.
Fujairah Aviation Academy's commitment to producing highly skilled graduates has made it a preferred institution for aviation enthusiasts worldwide. Sultan Rashit Abdulla Rashit Al Shene, Founder & Chairman of Alex Group Investments which is the parent company of Falcon, highlighted the objective of the graduate schemes saying, "Through our graduate schemes, we aim to empower the next generation of aviation professionals with a strategic and tailor-made development path to launch their careers."
This initiative is designed to offer interns and graduates a comprehensive experience, including rotations across various divisions within Falcon and at the Group level, mentorship from senior leaders, and numerous opportunities to network and fully realise their potential.
Captain Yahya Mohammed Saleh Al Boloushi, General Manager of Fujairah Aviation Academy, pointed out the ongoing evolution of the aviation sector and the UAE's dedication to nurturing human resources.
He emphasised the critical role of attracting and nurturing talent to meet market demands, ensure prosperity, and promote sustainable development within the country. In support of this partnership, Fujairah Aviation Academy will provide Falcon's employees with specialised training programs, including aviation-related examinations, foundational aviation legislation courses, and specialised training for aircraft maintenance engineers.
