10,000 Immediate Job Interviews Done For Emirati Talents At Industrialists Career Exhibition
The second edition of the Industrialists Career Exhibition, a pioneering event in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has successfully concluded, marking a significant milestone in the nation's efforts to bolster Emiratisation and foster local talent in the industrial and advanced technology sectors. The exhibition, which ran from April 21 to 23 at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre, saw participation from over 4,200 Emirati youth across the UAE, offering them immediate interviews with more than 83 companies and unveiling 800 job opportunities, including 150 positions specifically for Emirati people of determination in private firms.
This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis), and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc). It aligns with the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology under the National In Country Value (ICV) Program and supports the "Make it in the Emirates" initiative. The exhibition aims to enhance the competitiveness of the UAE's industrial sector, contribute to economic diversification, and promote sustainable economic development.

Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of MoIAT, highlighted the exhibition's role as an integrated platform that brings together government partners, the private sector, training entities, and jobseekers. He emphasized that this year's event aimed to offer more than 800 immediate-hire jobs alongside diverse training programs tailored to align jobseeker skills with company requirements. "At MoIAT, we are confident in the capabilities of Emirati talent. Through this exhibition, we are investing in enhancing their professional capabilities to support our national strategic direction," Al Suwaidi stated.
Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of Nafis, underscored the strategic importance of Emiratisation in the private sector and praised the collaborative efforts that led to a significant turnout of more than 4,200 Emiratis. He noted that over 80 major companies conducted interviews with local talent, reflecting a strong integration between partners and a commitment to securing jobs for nationals in value-added fields.
Yaser Saeed Al Mazrouei, Adnoc Executive Director of People, Commercial and Corporate Support, expressed pride in supporting an event that not only facilitates recruitment in leading private sector companies but also offers pathways for UAE Nationals to build successful careers. "Through Adnoc's ICV programme, we will continue to create high-skilled private sector job opportunities for UAE Nationals," Al Mazrouei affirmed.
The Industrialists Career Exhibition stands as a testament to the UAE's dedication to nurturing its human capital by providing meaningful career opportunities in strategic sectors. This initiative not only supports the country's economic growth but also aligns with its vision to become a global hub for sustainable and advanced industries.
