ECAE Extends Admissions For Postgrad Diploma Programmes Teachers
The Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE) has made an announcement that extends the admission period for two of its postgraduate diploma programmes. Aspiring teachers now have until 23 June 2024, to apply for the Pre-Service Early Years and Primary Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and the Pre-Secondary PGD programmes. This extension provides an excellent chance for newly graduated educators, who are yet to step into their teaching careers, to improve their teaching skills and methodologies.
These PGD programmes are specifically designed to address the current needs of the UAE's educational sector. By incorporating findings from extensive research and global best practices in education, the programmes aim to enhance the capabilities of new educators. The training is delivered by experienced academics and professionals, ensuring that the participants receive high-quality education and support throughout their journey.

Both the Pre-Service Early Years and Primary PGD and the Pre-Secondary PGD programmes are structured to cater to individuals who are new to teaching. The former requires participants to complete 28 credits, while the latter is made up of 25 credits. These programmes not only provide a solid foundation in various teaching methodologies but also offer practical, theoretical, and research-based modules. This mix enables students to hone their teaching skills and apply their knowledge in real classroom settings.
ECAE is encouraging all newly graduated educators with an interest in teaching to enroll in these programmes. This opportunity is poised to significantly benefit their professional development and prepare them for a successful career in education.
