Dubai Student Honoured By Prince William With Prestigious Diana Award

In a remarkable showcase of talent and dedication, Innoventures Education celebrates the extraordinary achievements of its female students who are setting high benchmarks in various global platforms. Among the distinguished achievers, 17-year-old Netra Venkatesh from DIA Emirates Hills stands out as the sole recipient from the UAE of the Legacy Award at the 25th Anniversary of The Diana Award ceremony held in London. This prestigious accolade, acknowledged by Prince William and Prince Harry, celebrates young individuals committed to social action and humanitarian work.

Netra, the visionary behind SpunkGo, has created an empowering platform for girls worldwide. With over 5,000 members from disadvantaged backgrounds spanning 20 countries, SpunkGo is a dynamic online community. It offers free life skills webinars led by inspiring female speakers, providing girls with vital knowledge and opportunities for growth.

Dubai Student Wins Diana Award

Moreover, the spirit of innovation and excellence at Innoventures Education was further highlighted by a team of four prodigious young girls, namely Eva Chacra, Caitlyn Rodrigues, Afia Suhail, and Siddhi Rai. Despite being some of the youngest competitors at just 14 years of age, these Year 10 students from DIA Emirates Hills clinched an outstanding third place in the prestigious Harvard Crimson Global Case Study Competition, surpassing 800 teams from across the globe with their exceptional problem-solving skills.

In addition to these accolades, an all-girl team comprising eight students from Year 10 and 11 at DIA Emirates Hills received certificates from Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, for successfully completing the Swift Accelerator program by Sandooq Al Watan. Under the mentorship of Apple-certified developers, these students honed their app development capabilities in a rigorous six-month programme, showcasing their aptitude for technology and innovation.
