Bright Capital Partners With Reigate Grammar To Establish Premier British Schools In The UAE

Bright Capital Investment has recently joined forces with Reigate Grammar School International, marking a significant step towards establishing a series of premium UK curriculum schools across the United Arab Emirates. This collaboration was formalized in Dubai, with Shaun Fenton OBE, Executive Headmaster of Reigate Grammar School, and Sean Davey, Global Business Director for Reigate Grammar School International, in attendance for the ceremony.

With a robust track record as a school operator and investment entity in the UAE, Bright Capital is set on developing one of the most extensive educational platforms in the region. The company already boasts investments in four Dubai-based schools, including Bright Learners Private School and three campuses of Star International Schools.

Reigate Grammar School, with its origins dating back to 1675 in London, carries a legacy of almost 350 years. It is recognized not only for its historical significance but also for its world-class educational standards, having been ranked among the top 20 private schools in the UK by A-Level results in 2023. Reigate Grammar School, alongside its international arm, oversees six schools across the UK, Saudi Arabia, China, and Vietnam. The Riyadh branch, opened in 2022, has seen rapid growth, currently hosting 1,200 students with a waiting list.

Shaun Fenton expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the ambition to create world-class schools in the UAE that embody a "global village philosophy." The upcoming Reigate Grammar Schools in the UAE are planned to be co-educational all-through schools, adhering to the National Curriculum of England and Wales, ensuring a broad and balanced education for students.
