He stated, "The introduction of these new programmes underscores our commitment to providing quality education that is aligned with industry needs. The Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) programme is uniquely structured to welcome students from all academic backgrounds, including Commerce and Humanities, offering them a pathway to a prosperous career in business. On the other hand, the other new programmes are tailored for students who have completed their high school education with a focus on Physics and Maths.

These programmes are meticulously designed to address various industry needs. For instance, BE Mathematics and Computing focuses on enhancing digital and mathematical proficiencies, while BE Architectural and Urban Engineering lays a solid foundation in architecture. The Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) programme delves into digital transformation, business analytics, financial analytics, and data-driven decision-making. Similarly, the specialisations in Energy, Environment, and Sustainability; Aerospace; Applied Molecular Biology; and Space Science and Technology reflect BPDC’s dedication to equipping students for future challenges across diverse sectors.

Nahid Afshan, Head of Admission at BPDC, highlighted the opportunities these new programmes open for high school students from various academic backgrounds. She remarked on the potential for students to embark on a journey towards a thriving career by choosing to study at BPDC.

Furthermore, BPDC enriches its educational offerings with Minor Programmes in areas such as Data Science, Aeronautics, Robotics and Automation, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Materials Science and Engineering, Philosophy, Economics, Politics, and Computing. These minors allow students to tailor their education according to their interests from the end of their first year.

The flexibility within BPDC’s undergraduate programmes also stands out as a unique feature. It offers students the chance to pursue dual degrees within an extended timeframe based on their first-year performance. This approach not only enhances their skill set but also provides them with a competitive edge in their chosen fields.

This expansion by BPDC marks a significant milestone in its mission to offer comprehensive education that prepares students for success in an interconnected global landscape. With these new programmes, BPDC continues to affirm its position as a leading institution committed to fostering academic excellence and innovation.
