AURAK Partners With Ras Al Khaimah Police For Mutual Collaboration In Skill Enhancement

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) has embarked on a strategic partnership with Ras Al Khaimah Police HQ, signing a comprehensive five-year agreement aimed at enhancing mutual benefits and cooperation. This partnership is set to integrate efforts, share valuable experiences, and improve performance indicators to meet strategic objectives. This move align with the directives of federal and local governments that emphasize strengthening partnerships among state institutions.

The MoU was formalized by Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, and Dr. David A. Schmidt, President of AURAK, witnessed by senior officials from both entities. This collaboration marks a significant step towards fostering a long-term alliance between the educational and law enforcement sectors in Ras Al Khaimah.

Addressing the significance of the agreement, Dr. David A. Schmidt highlighted the importance of establishing partnerships with local bodies to leverage mutual expertise. AURAK president expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, underscoring the shared values of excellence, innovation, and leadership with Ras Al Khaimah Police. Dr. Schmidt anticipates a fruitful outcome from this strategic agreement, benefiting both institutions.

From the perspective of the Ras Al Khaimah Police, Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi expressed satisfaction with initiating this crucial partnership. The collaboration seeks to integrate efforts and share experiences in order to fulfill strategic objectives that comply with the directives promoting inter-institutional partnerships. Major General Al Nuaimi also emphasized the importance of providing AURAK students with training opportunities within the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, aiming to attract talent and encourage engagement with technical units such as the forensic laboratory and crime scene investigation departments.
