American University Of Sharjah Launches Six New Academic Programs For September Intake
In a significant move to enhance its academic landscape, the American University of Sharjah (AUS) has announced the addition of six new programs, set to begin in September 2024. This expansion brings the total number of degree programs offered by AUS to 54, reinforcing its stature as a premier institution for higher education in the region.
The newly introduced programs cover a broad spectrum of disciplines, aimed at equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the competitive job market.
New Programs Overview
The School of Business Administration is introducing a Bachelor's program in Supply Chain Management, responding to the increasing demand for skilled professionals capable of managing global supply chains, a critical component for the sustainability of businesses worldwide.
The College of Engineering is set to launch three undergraduate degrees: Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Digital Construction Engineering and Management, and Bachelor of Science in Intelligent and Mechatronics Engineering. These programs are designed to prepare students for the complexities of engineering challenges and foster innovation in their fields.
Furthermore, AUS is expanding its postgraduate offerings with a new Master's program in Machine Learning, catering to the growing need for expertise in artificial intelligence and data science. Additionally, the College of Arts and Sciences will introduce a doctoral program in Mathematics, offering students the opportunity for advanced research and contributions to new discoveries in the domain.
