ADSM And UAE-India Business Council Partner To Boost Youth Entrepreneurship

The Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM) and the UAE-India Business Council-UAE Chapter (UIBC-UC) have formed a strategic alliance. This partnership, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding, aims to advance youth entrepreneurship, leadership development, and innovation in Abu Dhabi and beyond. The agreement will be effective until July 2028, with a review planned at the end to assess progress and consider future alignment.

A key element of this collaboration is a detailed plan for joint initiatives over the next three years. The partnership will feature a series of impactful events such as conferences, workshops, and seminars. These are designed to nurture entrepreneurial thinking and leadership skills among young professionals in the region. Participants will gain insights from thought leaders from the UAE, India, and other global innovation centres.

The partnership also includes developing professional courses focusing on innovation management, digital transformation, sustainable business practices, and ethical leadership. These programmes aim to provide learners with practical skills for the future while enhancing ADSM’s reputation as a leading business education institution in the Gulf region.

A structured mentorship platform will connect ADSM students and alumni with experienced executives and UIBC-UC-affiliated professionals. Additionally, both institutions will engage in joint research projects exploring trends in youth entrepreneurship, SMEs' roles in regional economies, and cross-border innovation ecosystems. They plan to co-author research papers offering valuable insights for policymakers and investors.

ADSM will contribute academic expertise to UIBC-UC’s broader programmes by participating in business roundtables, regional summits, and policy discussions. The UIBC-UC has also pledged to introduce ADSM to Indian universities, research labs, and incubators to strengthen educational ties between the UAE and India.

Dr. Tayeb Kamali, Chairman of the ADSM Board, remarked that this partnership reaffirms ADSM's dedication to empowering talent and driving meaningful change regionally. Faizal Kottikollon, Chairman of UIBC-UC, added that they are preparing future leaders who will shape innovation and enterprise between their nations.

This MoU represents an important collaboration between academia and industry focused on regional prosperity. It marks a significant moment for UAE–India cooperation in education, innovation, and economic development.
