Abu Dhabi Students Explore Careers In Tourism With Miral’s Educational Initiative
Miral, Abu Dhabi's premier developer of captivating destinations and experiences, recently hosted an educational event for ten outstanding students from the Rize University & Career Guidance Program (UPCG), an initiative powered by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK). This initiative was part of the launch of the "Miral Empowers the Community" series, highlighting Miral's dedication to corporate social responsibility (CSR) in education.
The selected high school students, ranging from grades 9 to 12, were treated to an insightful lecture about the entertainment and tourism industry, followed by an interactive tour of Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Taghrid AlSaeed, Miral's Executive Director of Group Communications and Destination Marketing, led the lecture. AlSaeed shared her vast experience, shedding light on the sector's challenges and opportunities. She also highlighted the significance of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Strategy 2030 and Miral's role in enhancing the emirate's tourism sector and economic diversification.

"By hosting the top students of the Rize UPCG Program, we are actively engaging and empowering our future generations through edutainment," AlSaeed stated. She emphasized Miral's commitment to fostering growth, prosperity, and a positive societal impact through wellbeing, inclusivity, and learning and development initiatives.
The event seamlessly merged educational content with entertainment, allowing students to apply their newly acquired knowledge during a tour of Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island. This aspect of the visit provided them with a practical understanding of the intricacies involved in developing and managing major attractions.
