Abu Dhabi Mobility Rolls Out Safety Measures For Upcoming Academic Year
Abu Dhabi Mobility has finalised its preparations for the upcoming academic year. This initiative aims to ensure the safe transportation of students to and from school daily.
These efforts also focus on maintaining smooth traffic flow around schools. This includes accommodating pedestrians, school buses, public transport, and private vehicles.

As part of its mission, Abu Dhabi Mobility is committed to improving road safety. The goal is to create a secure transport system that aligns with the leadership's vision of enhancing the quality of life and making Abu Dhabi a safer community.
Recent data indicates that the Salama system encompasses 206 operators. They manage a fleet of 8,568 buses and employ 8,752 drivers, with support from 10,134 supervisors.
The total number of schools covered by these measures is 672. This includes 204 public schools, 215 private schools, 213 nurseries, 38 charter schools, and two centres for people of determination.
The Salama system serves 237,111 students who use school transport. Additionally, parents have downloaded the Salama app over 30,000 times.
These initiatives are part of a broader effort to enhance road safety and ensure efficient transportation for all school-related activities in Abu Dhabi.
