Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week 2025 Unveils Exciting Activities For Families

Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week 2025, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA), begins on Monday, November 17.

The event aims to unite families, partners, and communities in celebrating young children. The theme for this year is "Together We Can Make Abu Dhabi a Family-Friendly Emirate."

Family Engagement at Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week

The event is part of the Year of Community and is organised by the ECA. It runs from 17 to 23 November across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra. More than 65 partners are involved in hosting over 300 community activities. These activities focus on early childhood development through engaging and interactive experiences.

Families have a variety of activities to choose from during the week. Options include workshops at Abu Dhabi Children's Library and interactive experiences at CLYMB Yas Island. Outdoor sports activities in public parks and health awareness sessions at Galleria Mall are also available. ADNOC's Family Engagement Day in Liwa offers additional opportunities for family bonding.

The event features partners like ADNOC as the Energy Partner, NACD as the Visionary Partner, and PureHealth as the Health Partner. Activities include workshops, play-based learning experiences, cultural showcases, and health-focused events. These aim to strengthen family bonds and celebrate Emirati culture while transforming public spaces into inspiring learning environments.

Most activities are free for the public; however, some require tickets or invitations. The full schedule can be accessed on ADECWeek.ae. This initiative serves as a platform to highlight early childhood's significance while promoting supportive environments for children's growth.

The ECA emphasises that this week is an open invitation for families to enjoy meaningful experiences combining learning with play. Parents are encouraged to explore new ways to engage with their children in safe spaces that enhance Abu Dhabi's family-friendly reputation.

The week underscores play's vital role in early childhood development and how family time strengthens emotional bonds. It demonstrates that daily interactions with children can significantly impact their academic outcomes.

The event also includes parenting workshops from NACD's "Olfah" Program and free football training sessions for children aged 5 to 8 at 321 Sports by Modon. PureHealth and M42 provide hands-on learning experiences focused on health awareness and well-being.
