Abu Dhabi Department Of Education And Knowledge Expands ADEK Summer Program Globally for 2025

In a significant move to foster educational advancement among Emirati students, the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has unveiled the third installment of its Summer Program.

This initiative is designed to cater to 200 distinguished students from grades 10 and 11 who are currently enrolled in public, private, and Charter Schools throughout Abu Dhabi.

By offering broad spectrum of pathways and programs at leading universities around the world, this program aims to facilitate students in exploring their academic interests, broadening their horizons, and aiding in both their academic and personal development.

His Excellency Mubarak Hamad Al Mheiri, the ADEK Undersecretary, highlighted the program's success in previous years and its continued expansion. He stated, "Following a successful programme last year, this expansion – in terms of the number of students, countries, universities involved, and the number of programs available – underlines our commitment to nurturing even more talented and aspiring students and empowering them to expand their knowledge beyond classroom boundaries."

This expansion reflects ADEK's dedication to providing more students with the opportunity to gain international exposure and develop skills that are vital for their future careers.

The 2025 edition of the ADEK Summer Program introduces an array of 14 distinct programs, including nine academic and five credit-bearing options, aligned with burgeoning sectors such as Medicine, AI, Neurobiology, and more.

Remarkably, seven of these programs are hosted by top 20 global universities, allowing 65 students the privilege to attend sessions at illustrious institutions like Stanford University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and others.

This not only enhances their learning experience but also prepares them for competitive future academic and career pursuits.

Through participation in this program, students are encouraged to aim for post-secondary studies at prestigious institutions worldwide and to discover their true passions.
