42 Abu Dhabi Launches Admissions For Innovative Tuition-Free Coding Boot Camp Starting February

42 Abu Dhabi, a coding academy in the UAE capital, is now accepting applications for its upcoming coding boot camp, 'Piscine', starting on 3rd February. This immersive 25-day programme challenges participants' programming skills and commitment. Successful candidates will join Generation 42 Abu Dhabi, enhancing their coding abilities to contribute to the emirate's digital transformation.

To apply, candidates must complete an online assessment called the 'Game', which tests cognitive skills through logic and memory exercises. Additionally, they must attend a Check-in discovery session to learn about the Piscine and the academy's learning approach. Passing these stages allows entry into 42 Abu Dhabi's coding programme.

The academy offers students access to a network of strategic partners, including the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi, Mubadala, ADNOC, and others. These partnerships provide pathways to job opportunities and practical experience in real-world projects. Dr. Ahmed Al Shoaibi stated, "At 42 Abu Dhabi, we are dedicated to empowering the next generation of innovators with advanced coding skills and a deep understanding of AI, crucial in driving Abu Dhabi's digital transformation and contributing to its digital economy."

Students who complete the Common Core curriculum, four additional modules, and a six-month internship can earn a Diploma in software development recognised by the National Qualification Centre (NQC) in the UAE. This qualification supports their career advancement in technology sectors.

Since its inception, 42 Abu Dhabi has enrolled over 900 students, including more than 230 UAE nationals. This initiative aligns with efforts to build an inclusive education system that prepares a future-ready workforce for Abu Dhabi's evolving economy.

Through industry collaborations, students gain hands-on experience that enables them to make immediate contributions while strengthening Abu Dhabi's status as a global tech hub. These efforts help shape industries' futures and support the UAE's knowledge-based economy.
