Deloitte Middle East Secures Pre-Approval From UAE Ministry Of Finance For InTax Ahead Of E-Invoicing Rollout

Deloitte Middle East has announced that its proprietary tax technology solution, InTax, has received pre-approval from the UAE Ministry of Finance. This approval designates InTax as an accredited service provider for the upcoming UAE e-invoicing mandate.

The UAE is gearing up for a phased introduction of mandatory e-invoicing. Starting 1 July 2026, pilot companies must comply, with companies earning over AED 50 million following suit by 1 January 2027.

InTax is Deloitte's comprehensive compliance platform designed to assist taxpayers in meeting their UAE e-invoicing obligations efficiently. It features user-friendly dashboards and robust reporting capabilities. The platform also integrates seamlessly with existing enterprise systems, helping finance leaders navigate regulatory changes confidently.

Marjolein van Delft, Tax Technology Consulting Leader at Deloitte Middle East, stated: "The pre-approval of InTax underscores Deloitte's commitment to supporting the UAE's digital tax transformation journey. We are proud to be among the first pre-approved accredited service providers (ASP) who offer a solution that not only ensures compliance, but also empowers businesses on their e-invoicing journey."

Doukje de Haan, Tax Technology Consulting Partner at Deloitte Middle East, added: "With InTax, we are helping clients turn e-invoicing compliance into an opportunity. By combining cutting-edge technology with Deloitte's deep tax expertise, we are equipping organizations to stay ahead of regulatory requirements and to embrace digitalisation as a driver of efficiency and resilience."

This pre-approval highlights Deloitte's role as a trusted advisor in the region's evolving tax landscape. It supports both multinational and local businesses adapting to the UAE's digital-first approach to e-invoicing compliance.

As the UAE progresses with its economic transformation agenda, Deloitte remains dedicated to assisting organisations in preparing for the e-invoicing mandate. The firm aims to shape a smarter and more transparent future for tax and finance in the region.
