The Dubai Chapter is described as the largest, most active, and award-winning ICAI chapter overseas, with a reach extending to over 6,000 professionals across the region. Its membership base represents more than 1,550 multinational and other companies, underscoring its role in the professional and corporate landscape.

The chapter operates under its parent body, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which maintains a global footprint across 85 cities in 47 countries. This network supports members through professional development, knowledge exchange, and recognition of Indian chartered accountants working in various international markets.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Rishi Chawla expressed his appreciation to members for their continued support, noting their role in the chapter’s direction and growth. His message highlighted confidence in the chapter’s collective ability to respond to changing professional demands and broader market conditions.

“I sincerely thank our members for entrusting us with this responsibility. With the blessings of the Almighty and the strength of our community, we will not only navigate the challenges ahead with resilience, but rise stronger, more united, and more purposeful than ever before,” Chawla stated.

The new committee assumes charge amid evolving global and regional dynamics, in a period where the UAE continues to provide what the chapter describes as a strong, stable, and inspiring environment. The leadership emphasises pride in being based in the UAE and engaging with its wider professional ecosystem.

According to the chapter, priorities for the year include addressing members’ evolving challenges through stronger industry connect and practical insights. The agenda also highlights support for entrepreneurship and leadership, alongside a continued focus on compliance and core technical competencies within the profession.

The Dubai Chapter has also formally acknowledged and appreciated the contribution of its past leadership, crediting earlier committees with shaping a strong and vibrant platform for members. With a committed team and guidance from senior members, the chapter anticipates a year of meaningful impact and collective growth.
