MG Reveals MG3 Hybrid+ And Cyberster Convertible At The Geneva Motor Show

In a significant unveiling at the 2024 Geneva Motor Show, MG has introduced the all-new MG3 Hybrid+ alongside revealing exciting details about its much-anticipated Cyberster convertible. This event marks a milestone for the renowned car manufacturer, showcasing innovation and the future of electric vehicles (EVs).

The Cyberster stands out with its dual electric motor and all-wheel drive configuration, making it the fastest accelerating and most powerful production car to have adorned the iconic MG badge. Achieving 0-62kph in just 3.2 seconds, this EV boasts a power output of 544PS (400kW) and a torque of 535 lb ft (725 NM).

Additionally, a single motor version of the Cyberster will be available, delivering power figures of 340PS (250kW) and maximum torque of 350 lb ft (475 NM), with a sprint time of 5.2 seconds for 0-62kph (0-100km/h).

The Cyberster's design will be complemented by a captivating selection of paint colours and finishes, including Dynamic Red, New English White, Camden Grey, Cosmic Silver, and a premium Inca Yellow. Options for both black and red roof colours will be offered as well.

Alongside the Cyberster, the Geneva Motor Show also serves as a platform for the MG4 EV XPower, the fastback MG7 saloon, and the all-electric MG9 saloon, underscoring MG's global appeal and diverse model range. The L6 saloon, a showcase of premium and advanced technology, is set to make its global debut at the show, promising an exhilarating driving experience.

IM, standing for Intelligent Mobility, is MG's parent company's new intelligent BEV brand focusing on advanced technology in driving assistance, connected services, and EV powertrains. Set for release in Europe in 2025, IM models aim to redefine the EV landscape with innovative features and performance.

The all-electric L6, in particular, combines impressive performance with its acceleration to 0-100kph in under 3 seconds and offers an exceptional range, boasting over 600 kilometres and 800 kilometres in two different specifications.
