Yango Launches MENA-Focussed AI-Driven Warehouse Robotics To Combat Rising Fulfillment Costs
At this year's Seamless Middle East in Dubai, global tech company Yango launched its AI-driven warehouse robotics for mobile and pick-and-place solutions, marking a significant stride in the Yango B2B technologies ecosystem. These advanced solutions are set to revolutionize the supply chain by addressing the escalating fulfillment costs plaguing sectors such as e-commerce, retail, logistics, and manufacturing.
In the face of rising fulfillment costs, which for e-commerce represent a third of companies' operating expenses, Yango's solutions offer a timely intervention. Notably, Amazon witnessed its fulfillment costs surge from 31% of net sales in 2021 to nearly 36% in 2023. Yango's technology, featuring a robotics pick-and-place agnostic hardware solution, showcased through a live demonstration, leverages advanced computer vision enabling stationary robots to mimic human capabilities. This integration promises up to 800 picks per hour with a precision rate of up to 99% of SKUs, seamlessly fitting into existing warehouse setups.

With a focus on the MENA region, Yango's pick-and-place solution is not just innovative but also economically viable, boasting a rapid return on investment within two to three years. Such efficiency is crucial as the region witnesses significant investments, including Saudi Arabia's $113 billion in logistics and the UAE's Dubai Silk Road Strategy, reinforcing its status as a global trade hub.
The unveiling also included mobile warehouse robotics solutions aimed at enhancing inventory management and order fulfillment processes. These robots are designed for tasks like stock-taking and moving goods and pallets, capable of autonomous navigation in dynamic warehouse environments, emphasizing the critical need for such innovations as the Middle Eastern online retail sector is projected to exceed $35,853 million by 2025.
Alexei Filippov, Head of Global Business Development at Yango Robotics, expressed the company's commitment to innovation and efficiency. "As fulfillment costs continue to rise, our warehouse robotics solutions come at a crucial time to help businesses not just survive but thrive," Filippov stated. He highlighted the significant cost reductions and operational enhancements these AI-powered solutions bring to clients across the region.
