UiPath Unveils Coding Agents Integration For Enterprise Orchestration And Transformation

UiPath has announced UiPath for Coding Agents, described as an industry first in agentic business orchestration. The integration makes coding agents enterprise deployable, allowing users of any technical level to create, test, deploy, operate, and govern automations via natural language conversations with their preferred coding agents.

Addressing isolation of coding agents in enterprises

The company said coding agents remain largely isolated from enterprise development workflows, security policies, code review processes, and deployment pipelines. Connecting multiple agents to each other and to critical systems typically requires manual effort, leaving productivity gains confined to silos and development sandboxes rather than end-to-end enterprise processes.

Open platform for multiple coding agents

UiPath for Coding Agents is built as an open platform that does not require standardising on a single vendor. Enterprises can run Claude Code in one department and Codex in another, while retaining flexibility to adopt new coding agents as they emerge, without disrupting existing automations or workflows.

Orchestration, observability, and governance as core features

The UiPath orchestration layer connects into coding agents with observability, execution, and governance as the foundation, regardless of model version or developer. As new models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and other AI providers are released, the company said orchestration makes the platform more valuable instead of less compatible.

Built-in enterprise governance and continuity

Built-in governance includes policy enforcement, audit trails, credential vaults, role-based access control, and runtime controls for every automation, whether created by humans or coding agents. UiPath said automations continue running when models are replaced, developers move on, or regulators conduct audits, as the execution and orchestration layers compound over time.

Raising productivity for developers and business users

For developers already building on UiPath, the integration is intended to expand productivity by making testing, debugging, and deployment as accessible as initial development. Business users can prototype and refine automations in real time, while coding agents manage technical complexity and UiPath maintains enterprise readiness.

Lowering barriers to automation across roles

“The emergence of coding agents signals a fundamental shift in the definition of a builder on our platform,” said Daniel Dines, CEO and founder of UiPath. He added that the platform treats AI-generated automations as “first-class citizens,” enabling product managers, analysts, and operators to direct coding agents from idea through to production.

Availability and future integrations

UiPath for Coding Agents is available now to enterprise customers, with initial support for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex. The company said additional coding agent integrations are planned for 2026, extending the platform’s ability to connect new AI models to existing enterprise automation infrastructure and governance controls.
