UAE's Supreme Committee Spearheads Digital Integration Of Judicial Systems

The recent assembly of the Supreme Committee for the Development of Judicial Electronic Systems marked a significant stride towards the integration of the Ministry of Interior's criminal systems platform with judicial entities across the UAE. This sixth workshop, led by Abdullah Abdul Jabbar Al Majid, Advisor to the Minister of Justice, unfolded over two days in Abu Dhabi, setting a pivotal stage for discussions on enhancing governmental efficiency through technological advancements.

The opening session of the workshop focused on introducing novel services and formulating strategies that resonate with the UAE government's objectives to streamline administrative operations, reduce bureaucratic barriers, and eliminate unnecessary requirements. The emphasis was on maintaining service quality and accuracy to support the goals of the UAE Centennial 2071 and foster patriotic values as per the "We are the Emirates" vision.

The discussions on the second day revolved around the progress in deploying initial services from the third phase and a detailed examination of upcoming services within this phase. The dialogue extended to addressing connectivity issues and exploring various innovative technical projects under the committee's scope. These discussions highlighted achievements aimed at enhancing smart, innovative, and high-quality services through improved interdepartmental cooperation, thus propelling the UAE government's vision forward.

Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector-General of the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Committee, emphasized the collective efforts of all stakeholders in elevating the efficiency, quality, and adaptability of governmental services. This aligns with the leadership's vision and government directives. He lauded the project's role in fostering technical cooperation among the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, judicial bodies, and federal and local prosecutions.

The outcomes from this collaborative endeavor are expected to significantly improve Emirati citizens' quality of life by simplifying customer procedures and transforming governmental processes.
