Abu Dhabi To Host UAE's First AI Integration Centre In Partnership With WWT And NXT Global

World Wide Technology (WWT) has entered into a groundbreaking partnership with NXT Global, marking a significant step towards advancing artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities within the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The collaboration has been formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the UAE's first AI Integration Center. This initiative positions the UAE, particularly Abu Dhabi, as a pioneering force in exporting state-of-the-art AI infrastructure on a global scale. The venture will operate under the name WWT NXT Global in the region.

Strategically positioned in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi's hub for technology and sustainable urban development, the AI Integration Center alongside an AI Proving Ground sets a global benchmark as the first sustainable facility of its kind. This initiative is a testament to the UAE's commitment to leveraging AI technology to foster economic growth and establish technological leadership. The new center aims to enhance the UAE's AI capabilities comprehensively, from development to deployment.

The UAE Ambassador to the US, Yousef Al Otaiba, expressed enthusiasm for the establishment of WWT NXT Global. He highlighted the significance of this initiative in strengthening AI innovation collaboration between the US and the UAE. Al Otaiba noted that this venture, alongside recent collaborations like the Microsoft and G42 announcement, forms a crucial component of the evolving partnership between the two nations.

Nasser Ahmed Khalifa Ahmed Al Sowaidi, Chair of NXT Global, shared his excitement about launching the AI Integration Center in Masdar City. He emphasized the center's role in supporting the UAE's ambition to become a leading global AI developer and exporter. Through providing necessary infrastructure, expertise, and innovative solutions, the center aims to foster significant advancements in AI technology.

Omar Mir, International Board Member of WWT, expressed his pride in the partnership with NXT Global and the strategic choice of Masdar City for the new Integration Center. Mir is confident that this collaboration will substantially contribute to Abu Dhabi and the UAE's ambitious AI goals.
