SRTI Park Collaborates With Samsung To Spotlight AI And Innovation Trends

In a significant stride towards fostering innovation and digitization, the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park) recently teamed up with Samsung Gulf Electronics. This collaboration aimed to spotlight the latest trends in Artificial Intelligence (AI), digitization, security, among other pivotal areas. An event, dubbed "Samsung Lab Experience," served as the platform for this initiative, drawing attention from across various sectors including academia, all keen on exploring the potential AI and related technologies hold for enhancing daily life.

The workshop, spanning two days, saw Samsung experts delve into an assortment of subjects such as AI, innovation, digitization, security, and customer experience. Moreover, discussions extended to the incorporation of technology in education and the functionalities of the Samsung SmartThings platform. This event marked a convergence of minds from government sectors, corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), academic bodies, and students, all eager to glean new insights.

Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SRTI Park, expressed pride in the park’s role as a beacon for innovators aiming to devise solutions with advanced technologies. Fadi Abu Shamat, Head of the Mobile eXperience Division at Samsung Gulf Electronics, lauded Sharjah's dedication to innovation. "Our workshop exemplified the impact of collaboration between public and private sectors, highlighting the importance of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in driving technological advancements and economic growth," said Abu Shamat. He also extended gratitude towards SRTIP for their hospitality and for facilitating a successful workshop.

Throughout the interactive sessions, Samsung unveiled a suite of its latest innovations tailored for the business sector. This included the Galaxy AI platform, B2B solutions, and the Knox platform, showcasing Samsung's commitment to advancing technology and aiding companies in thriving within the digital era.

The Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park was founded by a decree from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
