Breaking Linguistic Barriers: Arabic And More Languages Now Available On Samsung Galaxy AI
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has recently unveiled its plans to broaden the linguistic capabilities of its Galaxy AI by introducing three new languages: Arabic, Indonesian and Russian. This expansion also includes the addition of three dialects: Australian English, Cantonese, and Canadian French, supplementing the current roster of 13 languages.
This development is set to enhance the mobile AI experience for Galaxy users globally, enabling them to navigate language barriers with unprecedented ease. Furthermore, Samsung has announced its intention to integrate four additional languages—Romanian, Turkish, Dutch, and Swedish—alongside Traditional Chinese and European Portuguese later in the year.

TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, expressed the company's commitment to making mobile AI accessible to a broader audience. "Committed to democratizing mobile AI for all, Galaxy AI's language expansion this year will allow even more Galaxy users to communicate beyond language barriers on a scale that is completely unique to Samsung," he stated.
Roh also emphasized Samsung's ongoing efforts to innovate and lead in the provision of premium mobile AI experiences, aiming to equip users with the necessary tools to realize their potential fully.
Galaxy AI boasts a suite of features designed to transform communication and productivity. Among these, Live Translate offers real-time voice and text translations for phone calls, facilitating easier reservation bookings while traveling or conversations with non-native speakers. The Interpreter feature provides instant translations for live conversations, presented through a split-screen view for easy comprehension by both parties.
Chat Assist enhances conversational tones with context-aware suggestions, ensuring messages convey the intended sentiment. Additionally, Note Assist and Transcript Assist leverage AI to generate summaries and transcribe voice recordings, respectively, enhancing productivity. Browsing Assist rounds off the feature set by producing concise summaries of news articles or web pages, keeping users informed efficiently.
The roll-out of these new language and dialect packs is scheduled to commence in April and will continue over the following months. Galaxy users can look forward to downloading these updates directly from the Settings app, further enriching their mobile experience with Samsung's AI capabilities.
This expansion signifies Samsung's dedication to breaking down communication barriers and fostering a more connected world. By continuously enhancing the linguistic diversity of Galaxy AI, Samsung sets a new standard in mobile technology, making it more inclusive and accessible to users worldwide.
