Samsung Electronics Debuts 2024 Odyssey OLED, Smart Monitors, And ViewFinity Lineups

Samsung Electronics has announced the global launch of its 2024 Odyssey OLED gaming monitor, Smart Monitor, and ViewFinity monitor lineups. These new aim to deliver new unexpected features to users, enhancing their monitor experiences. The Odyssey lineup introduces OLED technology and AI capabilities to the gaming monitor market. The 2024 Odyssey OLED lineup includes the Odyssey OLED G8 and the Odyssey OLED G6. The Odyssey OLED G8 is a 32" flat gaming monitor with 4K UHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, providing ultra-smooth gameplay. It is powered by AI and features Samsung's proprietary OLED Safeguard+ technology to prevent burn-in. The Odyssey OLED G6 is a 27" QHD monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate, catering to gamers who need fast-moving gameplay.

The Smart Monitor lineup includes the Smart Monitor M8, M7, and M5. The Smart Monitor M8 is a 32" 4K UHD monitor with AI-powered features, such as AI upscaling for better resolution and Active Voice Amplifier Pro for optimized dialogue. It also offers 360 Audio Mode and a built-in SlimFit Camera for video calls. The M7 is available in 32" and 43" options with 4K UHD resolution, while the M5 comes in 27" and 32" options with FHD resolution.

The ViewFinity lineup is designed for creatives and professionals, with a focus on responsible practices. The monitors are made with a minimum of 10% recycled plastic and use glue instead of staples for easier disassembly. The ViewFinity S8 offers 27" and 32" screen options with 4K UHD resolution and a USB hub for easy connectivity. The S7 is available in 27" and 32" options with UHD 4K resolution, while the S6 comes in 24", 27", and 32" options with QHD resolution.
